From Woman to Woman — and to My Young Sisters
There comes a time in every woman’s life where she realizes—settling is no longer an option. No more pretending immaturity is “potential.” No more shrinking to fit into a space a little boy created when a grown man is what’s required. Sis, I belong in the hands of a grown, mature man—and so do you.
Not just someone with age, but someone who has grown. A man who doesn’t flinch at responsibility. A man whose peace isn’t disturbed by your strength. A man who prays for you and leads you without controlling you. A man who knows that love isn’t just feelings—it’s consistency, covering, communication, and character.
Let me say this to the younger women reading this—
You are not hard to love.
You’re not “too much.”
You’re not asking for too much.
You’re asking the wrong ones.
A mature man won’t be intimidated by your healing, your ambition, or your boundaries. In fact, he’ll protect it. He’ll honor it. Because real men—mature men—don’t destroy what they desire. They nurture it.
Let’s stop forcing ourselves into situationships with men who don’t even know who they are yet. Let’s stop calling inconsistency “growth” and chaos “chemistry.” We weren’t made to raise a man while trying to love one.
You were created to be seen, covered, and cherished. And you’ll never find your place in the hands of someone who hasn’t even found himself.
So here’s your reminder today:
You belong in the hands of a grown, mature man.
And until he comes—stay in God’s hands.
With Grace,
